Beulah Juniors welcomes parents and friends to work with children in school. Every morning from 8:45 -9:00, children work on their maths basic skills and problem solving in their classrooms. Your support at this time would be much appreciated.

Able to help out more? There is an opportunity to help out with reading on ‘First Friday’ – the first Friday of every month, from 1:45 – 2:45. No experience is necessary, just a desire to help out and a willingness to share a love of books. A member of school staff will be on-hand throughout the afternoon to assist and answer any questions. Upcoming dates for this event are:

2nd December 2016

6th January 2017

3rd February 2017

3rd March 2017

If you are able to help out, please let the office know and report there at 1:45 on the first Friday of the month.

Please contact the office if you feel you would be able to support the school in any additional ways. Thank you in advance for all your support.

Currently, in History and Topic lessons we are studying world war two. We have learnt about rationing, evacuation, the Blitz, Dig for victory and general life in WW2.

During the first week of November all three classes visited Croydon museum. There they visited the WW2 museum, participated in a handling session and completed a range of activties that were based on how the war impacted Thornton Heath.

Keep an eye out for our year 6 page, we will keep you updated on all the exciting learnig, trips and events happening in school.
