CURRICULUM
At Beulah Juniors, we offer a curriculum which is balanced and broadly based and which promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society, and prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.

CURRICULUM
The National Curriculum, revised in 2014, has been tailored to suit both the uniqueness and the needs of our school and pupils, and is taught from years 3 to 6. Children work on age appropriate objectives which are broken down into achievable targets within each subject area. In some cases, learning may be personalised to achieve the desired outcomes. As part of the school’s rationale, we ensure that pupils cover all the required statutory objectives (including those that most pupils are generally expected to achieve in the preceding key stage).
Our assessment procedures, formative and summative, have been devised to run alongside the curriculum and reflect the recent changes whilst also encompassing the breadth of the work pupils will cover over the course of the year. At Beulah, self-assessment is used because it is known to be a powerful tool – crucial when involving pupils in the process of securing their own good progress.
