Care at the beginning of the day is provided in the Junior school gym.  There is a special bell at the front of the school, clearly labelled, which parents can use to get children into the gym at this time of day as the usual reception area for the Junior school is not generally open at this time.  Care is provided between 7:45am and 9:00am at a cost of £3 per day – regardless of how long the child attends for.  Kimberley Neil is the breakfast club deputy manager and can be contacted on 07598349896 with any queries.

In order to be as flexible as possible we allow parents to use this service on a ‘pay as you go’ basis – i.e. you do not have to pay for a whole week at a time.  Kim has three other play workers in attendance each morning and has a sports coach from Smith’s Sports Academy who organise games for the children.  A healthy breakfast is provided.  If you wish your child to use this service you should register with Kim – either by calling her or by speaking to her at the club itself.

At the time of registration please make clear any dietary needs your child may have as the club cannot be held responsible if this information is not correctly provided.  Registration forms are also available at both Whitehorse school offices.

After school care is provided in the Infant school hall and runs from 3:15pm until 6:00pm.  Mrs Claudia Bardetti is the manager of the Pegasus Children’s Club  and may be contacted on 07598 349896 or e-mail at

Pegasus Children’s Club can offer 50 children aged between 4-11 normally attend this club, depending on the time of year, and registration forms may be collected from either of the school offices.  Snacks are provided immediately after school and a light tea is served at 5pm.

The cost is £9 per day and the club does not accept payments in cash.  Parents must pay by our ParentPay facility, when you join you will be allocated a barcode letter which will allow you to make payment either online or pay at a PayPoint.  The after school club also allows ‘pay as you go’ in order to be as responsive as possible to the needs of parents.  Parents should collect children by ringing the bell on the Infant side of the school by the wire gate and should call in plenty of time if there is the possibility that they might be delayed.
